The news was initially revealed by the NBC show during the 22nd season finale, according to Entertainment Weekly. It happened soon after Blake made it known that season 23 would be his last. He was a founding member of the coaching staff when the well-known singing competition made its debut in April 2011.
He announced his decision to leave The Voice after Season 23 on Instagram in October, saying, “I’ve been fighting with this for a while. “This show has completely improved my life, and I will always feel at home there.
The “God’s Country” singer continued: “I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew, and catering people; you are the finest. It’s been a hell of a trip during these 12 years of chair turns.”

In the Blind Auditions, the artist(s) present their song on the stage with the judges facing the audience.
- If a coach likes the voice of the artists, they can press the buzzer and face the stage.
- When a coach presses the buzzer, the artist is automatically placed in their team. If more than one coach presses the buzzer and turns, the artist can decide whose team they wish to join.
- Every coach has one ‘Block’ power that will prevent another coach from taking the artist in their team.
- The show will proceed once there are ten artists on each team.
