Superbad is a 2007 American coming-of-age buddy comedy film produced by Judd Apatow and directed by Greg Mottola. Jonah Hill and Michael Cera play Seth and Evan, two teenagers who are set to graduate from high school, respectively, in the movie. The males want to party and lose their virginity before graduating, but their plan is more difficult than anticipated.
When Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg were 13 years old, they started writing a movie that was partially based on their Grade 12 experience at Point Grey Secondary School in Vancouver in the 1990s. The two writers’ first names are also those of the main protagonists.
In addition, Rogen was originally cast as Seth, but due to his age and physical stature, this was modified, and Hill ended up playing Seth. Rogen then played the careless Officer Michaels, while Saturday Night Live actor Bill Hader played Officer Slater.

Hill and Michael Cera’s on-screen friends went on a series of humorous adventures that included drinking, romance, and other teen clichés. Hill, on the other hand, embraced the chance despite the stress. He replied, “I believe a lot is being so afraid not to do it, you simply do it.
“You’d feel so s—tty if someone put you in that situation with cameras all around and you didn’t do it.”

Jonah Hill (Seth)
Together with Moneyball, 21 Jump Street, The Wolf of Wall Street, Get Him to the Greek, The Sitter, and Maniac, the actor has starred in both comedies and dramas. He is also a filmmaker and screenwriter, and he has received nominations for both the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes for his work.

Michael Cera (Evan)
Arrested Development, Juno, Nick, and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Burning Love, Children’s Hospital, Molly’s Game, and Twin Peaks were among the shows that Cera appeared on to build his resume. In addition to releasing his debut album, True That, in 2014, he made his Broadway debut in the same year.
As announced in March 2018 that the actor has wed his lover of many years, Nadine. Cera’s co-star Amy Schumer unintentionally announced that Cera was a father in an interview in March 2022. The native of Canada announced his recent son’s birth in the same month.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Fogell)
Following his debut in Superbad, Mintz-Plasse had roles in Neighbors, Role Models, Kick-Ass, Pitch Perfect, The To Do List, and Tag. He plays bass guitar as well.
