Legacy is based on the Michael Connelly books about detective Harry Bosch, just like the first series, Bosch. The third season of Legacy was announced before Amazon’s NewFront show in New York on May 1, and the first season aired in May 2022.

Along with announcing the third season, Freevee said that Season 2 would add six new names to the cast. David Denman, who plays Kurt Dockweiler, Patrick Brennan, who plays David Foster, Rafael Cabrera, who plays Vince Harrick, Bruce Davison, who plays James Rafferty, Jessica Camacho, who plays Jade Quinn; and Guy Wilson, who plays Det. The Plot Of Bosch
According to Collider, Legacy, the story is mostly about the new problems that Hieronymus “Harry” Bosch faces and the new research he does. Bosch has been a Special Forces soldier in the Army, an LAPD detective, and is now a private investigator. Harry used to be a police officer in Los Angeles.
Now he is starting out as a private investigator, driven to find justice everywhere in the city. Connelly, who writes for and runs the show, said about the renewal, “What a gift and a joy it is to be able to dive into these people again and take their stories even further. Who Stars In Bosch: Legacy?
Harry Bosch, the main character, is still played by Titus Welliver. He is joined by a talented group, including Mimi Rogers, who plays civil rights lawyer Honey Chandler again, Madison Lintz, Stephen A. Chang, Denise G. Sanchez, Phil Morris, and Steven Flynn, among others.
