Miles would miss the remainder of the season due to an injury, Alabama said in a pregame statement the day before the Tide’s game against LSU. The player bio for Miles was removed from Alabama’s website shortly after his arrest on January 15. That day later, the school issued a statement that Miles had been “removed from campus” and was no longer on the team.
Miller’s claimed participation that evening had not yet been made public at that time. He participated in the following Alabama game against Vanderbilt on January 17. He contributed 30 points and 10 rebounds as Alabama triumphed 78-66.
