Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal, the newest true crime docuseries on Netflix, delves into what actually transpired with the Murdaugh family during the historic Murdaugh murder trials.

Alex Murdaugh, a member of the American legal elite, has been indicted and accused of more than 100 offenses, including fraud and the laundering of drugs and money. He is accused of killing his wife and his youngest son.

Now, Murdaugh may receive several life terms in prison, while his son, Buster Murdaugh, may escape punishment. As the trial progresses, we have seen a woman standing up for Buster who is reportedly his girlfriend. Who is the girlfriend of Buster Murdaugh, then?

Brooklynn White is a girlfriend as dependable as true as they come, despite the fact that we don’t get to see her in Murdaugh Murders too much. She has supported Buster during this trying time and has stood by his side throughout the trial. His mother and sibling were killed, possibly by his father, therefore he has experienced loss unlike anybody other.

Also, he lost his friend Stephen Smith in 2015 after what was allegedly a “hit and run.”

Who is Brooklynn White, then?  She reportedly owns a condo at Hilton Head, South Carolina, which makes sense. She shared the Murdaugh family’s concern about law and order. White, a candidate for the juris doctorate at the South Carolina School of Law, received her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Alabama in 2018.

There Were Rumors About Buster Murdaugh’s Sexual Orientation Several Years Ago

Stephen Smith was a close buddy of Buster’s who passed away before any of the Murdaugh family’s illegal actions were made public. Smith was strangely found dead in the middle of the road in 2015, and even though additional evidence suggests that he may have been the victim of a gunshot or some other attack, his death was officially judged to have been caused by a hit-and-run. Also a tweet is here about gthe incident.

Investigational records have shown that Smith’s death may have been part of a cover-up, similar to a number of other unexplained deaths, such as that of the Murdaughs’ housekeeper Gloria Satterfield.

In fact, because Smith was openly gay and the two were close friends, it is implied in Murdaugh Murders that Buster and Smith had an intimate relationship. Could Smith’s murder have been ordered by the Murdaugh family to hide Buster’s sexual orientation?
