Before the start of his third-grade year in 1994, Henne relocated to the Wilson School District. Throughout four seasons, he participated in 43 varsity games for the Bulldogs, starting 42, with a 33-10 record. His Wilson football teams won two Lancaster-Lebanon League Section 1 championships, the first in his rookie (2000) and the second in his junior (2003) seasons (2002). Henne’s third academic year was his most prosperous on an individual and team level. His 2002 Wilson Bulldogs team went 10-0 during the regular season, completed unbeaten, and placed second in the PIAA District 3 AAAA, losing to Central Dauphin in a nail-biting championship game.
