Chainsaw Man Season 2 Will The Anime Return! Check Out The Cast And Trailer Updates!

It’s a shame that things have suddenly become so quiet on the Chainsaw Man season 2 front after its inaugural season shone with a grisly show of blood and gross-out moments galore.

There hasn’t been an official confirmation of a follow-up, but we’re still keeping our eyes open and our chainsaws humming. Yet, it’s all but certain because both critics and viewers praised the anime success of 2021.

In light of this, we’ve created a fast guide to Chainsaw Man season 2, complete with release date rumors, suggestions for future source material adaptations, and more.

Chainsaw Man Season 2 Release Date Speculation

In October 2022, Chainsaw Man made its premiere amid the typically busy fall window for anime. It had a total of 12 episodes. We don’t expect the show to be canceled very soon, despite the fact that there hasn’t yet been an official announcement about season 2.

With Studio MAPPA’s tremendous recent productivity, we wouldn’t be surprised if they chose to target an autumn 2023 comeback. But, 2024 may also be a strong contender, particularly if Attack on Titan’s return is pushed back any further into late 2023.

Chainsaw Man Season 2 Storyline

A child named Denji and his Chainsaw Devil/dog friend Pochita were the central characters of Chainsaw Man’s first season. Denji becomes a Devil Hunter after receiving his father’s debt from the yakuza, but he is killed by a Zombie Devil, one of many creatures born out of humankind’s worries.

But, Denji is brought back to life and joins forces with Pochita to form the titular Chainsaw Man. He has the ability to transform into what is effectively a sentient chainsaw by pulling the ripcord on his skull.
