Demon Slayer Season 3: When Will The Series Be Released?

Demon Slayer Season 3 will soon be showing again. A film spanning the gap between the Entertainment District and Swordsmith Village arcs will be released in less than a month. Then, in April, Tanjiro is back in our lives full-time as he begins his crusade against demons alongside his comrades Zenitsu and Inosuke. There can also be some unexpected allies and adversaries.

We’ve put up a guide to Demon Slayer season 3, often known as the Swordsmith Village arc, to help you prepare ready. We have the most recent information on release dates, trailers, and even which manga chapters will be adapted for the Ufotable anime. Additionally, there is a sneak glimpse (or should we say sneak listen?) at the new opening theme for the third season, which you can hear below.

What’s The Release Date Of Demon Slayer Season 3?

Although the season 3 premiere of Demon Slayer will air in April 2023, there is a chance to see it one month early.

From March 3, a movie titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour will be shown in theatres throughout the US. The Entertainment District Arc’s episodes 10 and 11 from the previous season will be combined with the first episode (a one-hour special, no less) of the Swordsmith Village arc in the feature-length production.

Which Characters We’ll See In Demon Slayer 3?

The characters from the Swordsmith Village arc will include Tanjiro (Natsuki Hanae), Zenitsu (Hiro Shimono), Inosuke (Yoshitsugu Matsuoka), and Nezuko (Akari Kitou).

Two characters from the series, the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and the Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanoji, are joining them. Future seasons should also see more members of the Hashiras and the Twelve Upper Moons/Twelve Kibuki. A recent official sketch of the antagonist One Upper Moon, Doma, who is anticipated to make an appearance in Demon Slayer season 3, has been made public.

Storyline Of Demon Slayer 3

Officially, the Swordsmith Village Arc is the third season of Demon Slayer. We won’t discuss the source material here, but be assured that it will likely span chapters 100 to 127 of the manga. Given that the Entertainment District Arc covered a comparable age range of 70 to 99, this season will probably consist of 12 episodes, give or take a few.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Storyline

It should involve Tanjiro going to Swordsmith Village to obtain a new sword, barring significant changes. As luck would have it, there is an old weapon in the village. It’s not all that simple, though, because the story involves the Love and Mist Hashiras and perhaps one or two Upper-Rank demons.

In a broader sense, the Entertainment District finale also hinted at the likely direction the series will follow after Demon Slayer season 3. Tengen isn’t on the board anymore, yet he’s still alive. He informed Iguro that Tanjiro should most likely take over for Hashira. The Demon Slayers can finally retaliate against Muzan Kibutsuji, their ultimate goal.

Is There Any Trailor Out For Demon Slayer 3?

This year’s first quarter saw the release of the first Demon Slayer season 3 trailer. Unfortunately, it primarily consists of a review of previous events. You can watch it below.

However, there are a few hints of brand-new material: the sizzle reel shows the Love and Mist Hashira separately, and the Swordsmith Village is where a brand-new blade (later used by Tanjiro) is made. You may see it in its entirety above.

The second trailer, posted below, is a much longer preview of the Swordsmith Village arc and includes new footage and hints at potential new allies and foes.
