Family and friends gathered to say goodbye to Don Shane as he retired on March 2O, 2012, at Broadcast House.
According to WXYZ, after retiring, Shane moved to Arizona before spending his last years close to his children in California. His family welcomed their first grandchild in May 2022.
The entire Shane family and children are currently lamenting Don’s premature passing. In a similar vein, Don Shane’s family was defended by FOX 2 Detroit.
