Twitter has revealed that it has integrated with Elon Musk’s “everything app,” X. Twitter secretly revealed in a court filing that it no longer exists and that its assets have been merged with those of X Corp., a privately held company with its main office in San Francisco, California, that was incorporated in Nevada. Musk has long been interested in developing an application that could provide complete functionality equivalent to China’s WeChat, which he still manages on a daily basis. He has claimed that Twitter is a catalyst for the development of X, the all-encompassing app.
Elon Musk, 51, has made no secret of his intention to develop the “super app” for the US. He claimed in a webcast from last year that Twitter would either need to be converted to such an app or something new would need to be developed. Musk identified WeChat, a social networking, messaging, and payment system software from China, as a great app that the US is currently missing out on. He thinks that the US should develop such an app as the next logical step.
An important milestone that would indicate Musk is moving towards his long-term vision for the company is the combination of Twitter with X Corp. Musk first expressed interest in building an all-encompassing app in 1999 when he co-founded the online bank X.com, which ultimately merged with PayPal to become Google. The X app would most likely be a comprehensive platform with capabilities like social networking, messaging, and a payment system, among others.
Journalist Laura Loomer, who is suing Twitter as well as other social media firms, posted the court document announcing the merger of Twitter and X Corp. Attorneys at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, including Jonathan Patchen, Michael Gottlieb, Meryl Conant Governski, Kristin E. Bender, and Yuhan Alice Chi, all signed the legal document. In this case, Loomer is suing Meta Platforms, Facebook, and Mark Zuckerberg as well as the former CEOs of Twitter and Procter and Gamble.
On May 2, 2022, the racketeering case was initially filed in the San Francisco Division of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Apart from this, you may also get a chance to know that Elon Musk Unblocks Everyone On Twitter.
Twitter’s attorney Joshua Webb also included records in a separate filing in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division to demonstrate that “Twitter, Inc. has been consolidated with X Corp. and no longer exists.”
The filing stated that X Corp. is a privately held corporation with its major place of business in San Francisco, California, and was thus a citizen of both Nevada and California.
Musk tweeted ‘X’ on Tuesday and left the netizens wondering what it was all about. In his previous tweets, Musk has said Twitter was “an accelerant to creating X, the everything app.”

Although Musk has maintained a public pattern with the letter X, including the name of his child, a website he owned before he co-founded PayPal, X.com, and the current names of his companies and products, such as SpaceX and Tesla Model X, he has not publicly disclosed the shift.
