AP — MEMPHIS, Tenn. According to authorities, a Monday morning shooting on 26 February 2023 at a crossroads in Memphis left one person dead and four others injured.

As gunfire broke out in the city’s Westwood neighborhood at around 5 a.m., police were called to the hospital, where the five injured individuals had been transported in a personal vehicle.

At Methodist South Hospital, there was one fatality. Two of the other four injured were sent to a different hospital for medical attention.

According to The Commercial Appeal, the Memphis Police Department didn’t immediately name any suspects or make any more shooting-related announcements.
