The couple kept their daughter’s birth and early years at home private, although Turner later shared a photo on Instagram in November that looked to display a new tattoo honoring Willa: a tiny “W” on her wrist beneath the word “J.”
Turner expressed her gratitude for her daughter on her Instagram Story in March 2021, the month of her first Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom as a parent.
“I’m extremely appreciative that my two greatest loves allowed me to become a mother. “My gorgeous baby girl and @JoeJonas,” she said. It’s my all-time fave job, she said.

She added, “The feelings about family are just like overflowing; the empathy is enhanced.” “Becoming a mother has, you know, improved me as an actor.”
Turner revealed to Elle UK that Willa, who was 21 months old at the time, wasn’t quite aware that she was set to become a big sister.
“I’ll say, ‘What’s in there?’ and point to my stomach. and say, “Baby,” she will. But after that, she’ll point to her own stomach and say, “Baby,” before doing the same to her father’s. She said, “I guess she just thinks a belly is a baby and that’s what it’s called.

A similar idea was expressed by Jonas, who told PEOPLE, “You truly don’t know what to anticipate. Though perhaps a little less anxious [this time], my excitement is unabated. It’s such a wonderful aspect of life.
He continued, “It’s been amazing to be a dad and to learn more about myself and what that’s like every day.” We recently moved to a new city, and it’s a very exciting time. I’m very much looking forward to the future on all things.”

She said in the photo’s caption, “Full of baby.”
In the same month, Jonas talked to PEOPLE about juggling his music career and being a new father.
Regarding keeping everything on track, he said, “It’s an adjustment period. “I think I can now work a little bit harder to take time off. That’s just something I’m learning as I go. It feels like a dream come true for me to be able to go make music or perform or develop new projects and have a lovely family every day.
