Kimberly Duane Mulkey is an American college basketball coach and former player. She is the women’s basketball team’s head coach at Louisiana State University. She was the only person in NCAA women’s basketball history to win a national championship as a player, assistant coach, and head coach.
She also won gold medals at the Pan-American Games in 1983 and the Olympics in 1984. As the head coach of Baylor in 2005, 2012, and 2019, as well as LSU in 2023, she has won NCAA championships. Mulkey was elected into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2000.
