The 26th of January is recognized as a “black day” in the world of sports. In a helicopter disaster, basketball legend Kobe Bryant, his teenage daughter, and seven other people perished. Bryant died from physical trauma three months after his death, with severe brain damage and 30% burns, according to an autopsy.

It was traveling at a speed of roughly 296 kph when it hit the ground, which generated a helicopter effect and scattered debris. Burns on the deceased were found to have occurred after death despite the flames being submerged in the rubble.
