According to Bloomberg, Musk, the CEO of firms including Tesla and Twitter, is now worth $187.1 billion. He defeated LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, surpassing the man whose personal net worth, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, is $182 billion.
As Tesla stock dropped in December of the previous year, Arnault succeeded Musk as CEO. According to historical data on Yahoo Finance, on January 3, 2023, the price of Tesla stock fell to a low of $108.10. The stock of the automaker ended Monday at $207.63.
Musk had had a better 2023 so far after last year’s turmoil when he purchased Twitter, following some doubt about whether he’d follow through on the acquisition and a lawsuit at the time by Tesla shareholders.
