Dwayne Johnson As Raymond
Raymond “Ray” Gaines, who plays the main character in San Andreas, is portrayed by Dwayne Johnson. He is a helicopter rescue pilot for the Los Angeles Fire Department. He starts on a mission to use a helicopter to rescue his wife from a tower, and then the two of them go to the Coit Tower to see their daughter.

Carla Gugino plays Emma Gaines among other characters in San Andreas. She is Raymond’s estranged wife. Although going through a divorce, the couple decides to work together to save their daughter.
