One of the greatest stars in the organization is Brock Lesnar, and other A-listers are vying to work with him. Stone Cold Steve Austin, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, declined the opportunity to go on Lesnar once more.
In 2002, he declined to compete against The Next Big Thing on RAW. Instead of going through with that match, Austin decided to leave the firm. The second time, he declined to compete against Lesnar at WrestleMania 39.
Stone Cold objected when WWE asked him to defeat a young Brock Lesnar in the King of the Ring competition in 2002. Austin said it was disrespectful for him to fight on RAW and lose to a rookie without the bout having any kind of buildup.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Stone Cold was given the opportunity to finally face Lesnar at WrestleMania 39. The Hall of Famer declined the opportunity once more, though. He was never given the chance to compete against Roman Reigns, according to the claim.

”As noted, there was an attempt for a Lesnar vs. Steve Austin match, as the two have never faced off. While there may have been mentions of Austin with Roman Reigns at one point, it was never anywhere near serious. Those close to Austin said it was Lesnar who he was approached about. Austin turned that down.”
