His father, the composer, and big band leader Louis Henry Bring (Lou Bring), and his mother, the actress, and big band singer Frances Hunt, were his parents.

From November 1966 until the couple divorced the following year in January 1979, he was married to Elaine Joyce Fenton. After that, in January 1986, Harry wed Rhonda Bring, who was also an actress, producer, and production manager.

Since the seventh season of ‘Criminal Minds,’ which debuted in 2011, Harry has served as both a co-executive producer and an executive producer on the show, which will end after 15 seasons in the year 2020. Melrose Place, Presidio Medical, and The Lyon’s Den were among the shows on which he worked as a production manager.

On February 16, 2021, Harry passed away from cancer at the age of 77. His son, Brad Bring, posted the news on Facebook to make the announcement. “Today we lost a legend at 77 years young,”  He continued

“Harry Bring succumbed to a life full of laughter and hard work, dedication to family and friends and the love he had for Rhonda Leeds-Bring. He fought cancer for years and kicked it’s a**. That let him enjoy USC, the SF Giants, the Rams, hating on 45 and his grandkids a little longer. He embodied the Fight ON spirit of the Trojans.”

Brad wrote,“While dad was a cut-up in school, he was straightened out in the Army which changed his life. He did more before 9 am than most did all day. He loved work and if you asked him what his favorite crew was, it was always the one we were working with right now.”

Following a discussion of his father’s achievements in the workforce, Brad remarked that the man’s primary influence was felt inside the context of the home. He taught us that it was never inappropriate to have a good laugh and that we should never pass up an opportunity for a hug and a k!ss.

That it was crucial for me to “show up” to my baseball games at 8:00 am on a Saturday morning after working a 100-hour work week. According to what he wrote, “He was always there for me, for us, and for you if you knew him.”

After the news was broken, an outpouring of sympathy was received. A number of the ‘Criminal Minds’ cast members shared their sorrow on various social media platforms. On the television show ‘Criminal Minds,’ Matthew Gray Gubler, who plays the role of Dr. Spencer Reid, shared the following statement on Twitter:

“Funny people never die because you can visit them on every wave of laughter until the end of time.”

They continued “OOur Criminal Minds family mourn the passing of our line producer Harry Bring,” wrote Joe Mantegna, the actor who portrays David Rossi and is a member of the main cast of ‘Criminal Minds: Evolution. “His excellence at his job was only equaled by his excellence as a human being. God bless you Harry.”
