In an interview before he d!ed, Lagerfeld said, “There will be no funeral…If she dies before me, I’ve asked to be cremated and have my ashes spread with those of my mother…and Choupette’s.” Choupette was alive and well when this was written, and Karl’s will named her as a recipient. The “Karl For Ever” event was held at the Grand Palais in Paris on June 20, 2019, and 2,500 people were there.
