TMZ received a statement from Major’s family saying the following: “Austin was a compassionate, creative, exceptionally intelligent, and brilliant individual. Austin’s acting career was a source of great joy and pride for him. He was a highly accomplished Eagle Scout who also graduated at the top of his class in high school.”
